And if I should think about the words The darkness inside my head To light enough to see for what its worth Almost like   You're dead You're better off lonely You're better off Better off without these thoughts inside your head   You left me behind With no-one left to talk to   And if I should think about the words The darkness inside my head To light enough to see for what its worth Almost like   You're dead You're better off lonely You're better off Better off without these thoughts inside your head   You left me behind You left me behind With no one left to talk to With no one left in my head The feeling is dead From the tips of my toes to my head Have you ever seen something more dead? lying naked and meek; try’s to get to its feet but instead your dead You're dead You're better off lonely You're better off Better off without these thoughts inside your head

Hang On 03:31
He hangs a picture of himself Its something to rely on He can understand there’s people struggling there So hang on Hang on   He takes a look at all his wealth It’s something to rely on He can’t understand there’s people struggling there So slave on Slave on    Hes got no wife and kids But he’s got his health It’s not something to deny your wrong Can he break away the monster from standing there Hang on Hang on   Don’t mistake this gesture for vanity We’re not obliged to look We’re not obliged to look & see  Don’t mistake this season for vanity

Her Name 04:08
her name her name her name   was Meggie-Jane a tiny bit the same I’ve wasted time again on someone To give my time away I’ll wait another day Spit poison Rinse mouth And exit uninvited   her name her name   was Katie babe she took my heart away when I returned she couldn’t find it now I find better ways  to hurt the ones that stay neglect reject and come back smiling   nobody to keep me dry I can feel the water lick my ankles I look from side to side just shrug and smile It’s only water   Should I keep it to myself Or share the water with I’m open to suggestion that I’ve missed Should I keep one by my side Work hard on what I’m left with   her name her name her name   too short to phrase blonde hair and a tattooed gaze smiled at me while I was behind her first a novelty get fucked up at work for free then take her home that tattoo smiling   now for the final squeeze years rolled on from one two three I couldn’t stand it We where divided   Nobody to keep me dry I can feel the water lick my ankles I look from side to side Just shrug and smile it’s only water It’s only water…

Field 04:41
field long and stretching around the house dim lights reveal the path without showing the cracks it has faces look out see the world sneezing and sweating it out let the blind cut out, the glare it has   looks hot outside   let’s see the face stretch out the lines and take two photographs   let’s set a place a place for u to eat we’ll wait for the bake to be brown enough so it, tastes the way it should so it, tastes the way it. . . .    looks hot outside   lets enter race a starting point to something run keep up the pace and you will taste the sweetness in the bake you will the sweetness of the bake   field long and stretching around the house dim lights reveal the path without showing the cracks it has   faces look out see the world sneezing and sweating it out let the blind cut out, the glare it has   rest friend, you're reckless I won’t forget you Who you, put to rest, my friend I saw your hand take the steel

about

Anyone on the scene in Melbourne already knows Humans As Animals' extravagant pub shows and brooding Prog-Pop Melody-driven anthems. After six years of crafting very warm live performances, Humans As Animals have finally put down four favourites to launch into the record industry. "Eukaria" captures the diversity of the band’s influences; from Zappa’s tongue-in-cheek compositions, Tom Waits’ darkness and the joy of an old Motown record. The styles blend beneath intricate, powerful guitar solos and progressive song structures.
